Welcome to the North American Bear Company page of our online showroom! Our current inventory includes NABC's first Vanderbear Family. This first Vanderbear Family, Classic Velvet Collection, was born in 1983-84. All the members of this first edition Vanderbear Family are fully jointed with hand-stitched noses, rick golden plush and felt paws. All are in mint condition, and have never been displayed.
Manufacturer's label is sewn into the seam at base of each body and each bear includes original hang tag. This first edition family including Cornelius, Alice, Fluffy and Fuzzy was introduced in 1983 and retired in 1988. The original Muffy in her christening outfit was introduced in 1984 and retired in 1985.
